Renowned for his business acumen and leadership abilities, Austin J. Van Decar has excelled as the chief executive officer, president and owner of Stein & VD LLC, a construction consulting company, in Nashville, Tennessee since 2020. Additionally, since 2020. he has also been a post-anesthesia care unit and operating room emergency medical technician at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A licensed emergency medical technician and paramedic, Mr. Van Decar has been studying as a nursing student with Portage Learning since 2018 after earning a Bachelor of Science in history and philosophy of science and medicine from Florida State University that same year.
Prior to his current endeavors, Mr. Van Decar began his career as a medical historian in 2009. He has additionally worked as a cardiovascular technician at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, an emergency medical technician for Capital Regional Medical Center from 2015 to 2016 and as an emergency room technician at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center from 2017 to 2018. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2020, he served as a health demolition specialist with Blackpine Construction Tennessee Apprenticeship, as well as an emergency medical technician with the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
